Matt Mantell

Matt is the President and a co-founder of BRRR. Growing up in the small southeast town of Mt. Perry, he attended Sheridan High School and graduated with the class of 1994. Upon graduation Matt enrolled in Ohio University in Athens and was accepted to the Russ Collage of Engineering and Technology. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, he began work at American Municipal Power in Columbus Ohio as a NERC and PJM certified Power Dispatcher. In July of 2007, Matt accepted a position at First Energy as a Transmission Dispatcher and moved to Medina, Ohio.  He is very active with his hobbies which include snowmobiling, hunting, camping, classic muscle cars, Jeeps, weight lifting, movies, railroad speeders and railroad history. Justin "JT" Kennedy

Justin (J.T.) is the Vice President of BRRR. Growing up in the small town of Medina, Ohio, he attended Medina High School and later attended Kent State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Technology Education. Upon graduation Justin began working for Pulte homes and has since held sales and management positions for a number of years and is currently a salesman for a manufacturing company in Akron. Justin is married to Courtney and they currently reside in Wadsworth, Ohio. Justin’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, skiing, camping, riding speeder cars and hanging out with family and friends. Keith Welker

Keith is the treasurer of BRRR.  After earning a BS degree in Electrical Engineering at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, he moved to Texas to work designing specialized circuits for Catapiller in Texas.  After a few years away from Ohio, he moved back to Ohio and settled in Troy, Ohio with his wife and his son (Troy).

Mike "Val" Valentine

Val is the Secretary of the organization.  He has often had construction jobs, but has recently made the jump to working a desk job in pricing new house build and estimating costs.  As the secretary, Val is responsible for keeping everyone in the loop on activities, notices, and requests from local clubs.  You can contact Val at val@bassrun.org.
